Overview

Maintenance Team Leader – Telford

Salary: £67,203

Shift: Friday - Sunday Weekend nights 6pm-6am

The Opportunity: This is an exceptional opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art environment packed with automated machinery including robotics. The site adopts 5S principles throughout and offers real career development with internal promotions. The role is hands-on and includes supervising a small team on shift, with involvement in project work in addition to daily maintenance duties. Main equipment includes die casting machines, furnaces, hydraulic presses, conveyors, injection moulding machines, assembly cells, ABB robots, Siemens PLCs, and CNCs.

Biases considered: Either bias considered.

Responsibilities

The role is hands-on and includes supervising a small maintenance team on shift, with involvement in project work on site. Key equipment areas include but are not limited to the machines listed above.

Experience required
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer (either bias) with some team lead/supervising experience
  • Ideally in a supervisor/team leader role currently
  • Level 3 qualified in a multi-skilled discipline either mechanical or electrical
  • Electrically – 3-phase motors, contactors, sensors, relays
  • Experience with robots, die-casting, CNC machines or automotive environments is advantageous
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred (e.g., FMCG, Food, plastic, packaging, Pharmaceutical, foundry, automotive, metals, etc.)
