A community-focused charity is seeking a Maintenance Operatives Team Leader to oversee maintenance teams and ensure the safety and comfort of living environments. Responsible for conducting surveys and planning maintenance, the ideal candidate has property maintenance knowledge and leadership experience. Join us as a Maintenance Operatives Team Leader and help improve the lives of people using P3 Charity’s services by ensuring their living environments are safe, comfortable, and well-maintained.
Working at various sites across Cheltenham and Gloucester, you will carry out essential tasks like damp and mould surveys, fire door inspections, and planning maintenance priorities whilst also leading a small yet very successful and hard-working team of Decorators and Maintenance Operatives, delegating tasks, providing them with technical support, and overseeing contractor work to ensure deadlines and budgets are met.
With a focus on safety, efficiency, and quality, you’ll help drive improvements and track resources across our repairs and replacement service, ensuring our properties remain a safe haven for all. You will possess a good understanding of legal compliance, including HHSRS to deliver our departmental standards.
We’re looking for someone with IOSH Managing Safely certification, a City & Guildsqualification or NVQ level 2 in at least one trade with skills and leadership experience in a similar role, who can work with a wide range of people and take initiative. A company van, tools, and workwear are provided.
