Overview

M-Tec Engineering Solutions is working in partnership with a high-volume manufacturing client to recruit a Maintenance Team Leader.

Responsibilities

• As Maintenance Team Leader, you will lead a three shift-based maintenance team, delivering planned and reactive maintenance activities across production equipment. You'll be responsible for supporting uptime and driving productivity.
• Supervise and support a team of maintenance engineers across a 3-shift rotation.
• Ensure machinery and equipment are maintained to the highest standards, minimising downtime.
• Lead Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives.
• Modify existing PLC code when required and support wider automation and controls issues.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience in a supervisory or team leadership maintenance role.
• Electrically biased with strong mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Hands-on experience with Robotics, PLC programming and modification (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
• Background in high-volume manufacturing within an FMCG sector.
• Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent technical qualification preferred.
