Job Description:

Castlefield Recruitment is currently recruiting a Maintenance Surveyor for a North East based Housing Association on a permanent basis. The salary for the role is £38,000 - £42,000, subject to experience. Office attendance is required roughly twice per week.

The role:

• Carry out pre- and post-inspections for responsive repairs and void works, managing a patch in the North East.
• Contract manage the progress of works against schedules.
• Work closely with in-house trades and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered cost-effectively and to high quality.
• Manage any disrepair cases raised.

What you need:

• Building Surveying experience within a residential environment, ideally social housing.
• Experience managing responsive repairs and void works.
• Minimum HNC/HND in building surveying or an equivalent qualification in a building-related discipline.
