An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Surveyor position, available on a contract or permanent basis, in West London, covering Kensington and Chelsea patches with a Local Authority.

*** 2 days in the office are compulsory, with the rest of the week spent between home and site visits. ***

Main Objectives:

• Specify voids and ensure contractors and in-house DLO are working to meet targets for property handover.
• Monitor the quality of voids and ensure standards are met.
• Use a handheld device (PDA) to specify each void room according to NAT Fed schedule of rates, and ensure photos are taken during all inspections.
• Collaborate with the Voids and Lettings Manager to review variations submitted and approve invoices, ensuring charges are accurate.
• Experience as a surveyor within social housing, especially on Voids and refurbishment projects, is required.
