Job summary

Clarion Housing Group is seeking a Maintenance Surveyor to cover Chichester, Guildford, Bracknell and surrounding areas. You will undertake pre/post-inspection work and prepare reports for responsive repairs, voids and cyclical works, engaging with customers, leaseholders and stakeholders.

You will plan and coordinate repair and construction activities to meet cost, time and quality targets. A Diploma in Surveying, Property and Maintenance Level 3 and active membership of a professional body

Qualifications

• Diploma in Surveying, Property and Maintenance Level 3.
• Member of a professional body such as RICS or CIOB.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre- and post-inspections and produce reports for repairs.
• Plan, coordinate and oversee repair, maintenance and construction work to meet KPIs.
• Engage with customers, leaseholders and stakeholders throughout projects.
• Undertake building surveys to assess condition and identify deficits and risks.
• Carry out major void inspections and ensure works meet cost, time and quality targets.

Job description

Location: Chichester, Guildford, Bracknell

Salary: £34,869 - £47,945 per annum

Hours: 36 hours per week

Contract Type: Permanent

We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Surveyor to join our team covering Chichester, Guildford, Bracknell and surrounding areas.

Reporting to the Neighbourhood Repairs Manager you’ll be responsible for pre/post-inspection and reports for responsive repairs, void works and cyclical repairs, consulting and engaging with customers and leaseholders, and with internal and external stakeholders.

You’ll plan and coordinate repair, maintenance, and construction work to deliver according to cost, time, and quality standards.

We’ll look to you to undertake building and technical surveys to determine the building condition and identify deficits and associated risks. You’ll carry out major void inspections and ensure that work is completed in line with KPIs and make recommendations based on survey findings.

It is essential that you have a Diploma in Surveying, Property and Maintenance Level 3 and are a member of a relevant professional body e.g. RICS or CIOB.
