A leading hotel group in the UK seeks a Maintenance Support Manager. Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £40,000-£45,000 + car allowance
Location: Field-based with regular UK travel to our hotels across London, South East, South West, South Wales & Midlands (travel may be required outside of divisions on occasions).

What you’ll be doing:
You'll support and develop Maintenance Technicians across your divisions - delivering onboarding, training and coaching that builds skill, confidence, and consistency. You'll lead technician engagement through regular touchpoints and help embed a culture of quality and pride in every hotel. When needed, you'll also provide hands on maintenance support and step in to cover Maintenance Technician absences and vacancies - ensuring hotels stay safe, compliant, and operational.
You'll implement best practice maintenance standards on the ground - embedding consistent processes and helping hotel teams translate guidance into effective day to day delivery. You'll also feedback insights to continuously improve tools, procedures and training.
You'll help keep hotels safe, operational and guest-ready, tracking out of order rooms, resolving issues quickly, and supporting Maintenance Technicians to deliver maintenance that enhances the guest experience.
You'll manage divisional stock efficiently and ensure tools and equipment are maintained to support safe and effective repairs. You'll also help Maintenance Technicians prioritise their workload to reduce waste, minimise downtime, and maintain standards under pressure.
You'll lead Maintenance Technician recruitment and onboarding in partnership with Hotel Managers. You'll deliver structured inductions, hands-on training, and ongoing development that empowers Maintenance Technicians to thrive and stay engaged.
You'll oversee the consistent delivery of Planned Preventative Maintenance and ensure hotel maintenance meets compliance standards across fire, life safety, and mechanical systems. You'll support Maintenance Technicians to understand and meet their responsibilities, helping reduce risk and maintain operational integrity.
