You will service electro-mechanical systems, support customers nationwide, and identify improvements to enhance reliability. Overview

As part of our UK-wide Maintenance Support team, you'll work flexibly across a variety of fast-paced environments delivering top-quality support for automated material handling systems. Your role will include responsibilities across servicing, fault diagnosis, customer liaison, and proactive improvements to maximise reliability and minimise downtime.

Responsibilities
  • Servicing and fault diagnosis on electro-mechanical systems
  • Supporting customers nationwide, often autonomously
  • Identifying improvements to boost reliability and reduce downtime
  • Advising on spare parts and long-term fixes
  • Liaising professionally with customers and other AMH teams
  • Occasional project support and site-based reactive cover
  • Pro-rata on-call coverage (shared across the team)
Qualifications
  • ONC/HNC or equivalent qualification with electrical bias (essential)
  • Strong experience with automated systems maintenance
  • Confidence working independently and fault-finding under pressure
  • Comfortable with travel, overnight stays and shift flexibility
  • Full UK Driving licence
  • Proactive communicator with a can-do, solutions-focused mindset
  • Strong English language and good communication skills

Additional details: Core Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 start with paid overtime (1.5x hourly rate). Weekend and night shift flexibility may be required. On-call rota: 1 week in every 3 (with £3,000 allowance and generous overtime rates).
