Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a prominent mixed-use development in Waterloo. You will lead a small team of engineers, oversee planned and reactive maintenance, and manage subcontractors to deliver high standards of service.

The role requires an electrical or mechanical engineering background, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, and strong client-facing and leadership skills. This is a full-time, on-site position with a safety‑driven environment.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience supervising or leading engineers in a facilities management setting.
Strong knowledge of building services and statutory compliance.

Responsibilities

Supervise on-site team of engineers and maintain high service standards.
Act as primary client-facing contact for electrical, technical, and operational matters.
Manage planned and reactive maintenance within contractual timescales.
Coordinate subcontractors and oversee quotations and remedial works.
Ensure electrical compliance documentation is completed accurately and on time.
Support safe operation of electrical infrastructure and identify improvement opportunities.
