We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Supervisor & Driver to join the Vivienne Westwood head office in Battersea. The successful candidate will support the Office Manager in ensuring all maintenance works are carried out efficiently and safely, while also playing a key role in shaping and delivering a forward-looking maintenance strategy.

This role will oversee three key locations: Elcho Street (Head Office), Merton (Warehouse), Conduit Street (Office/Boutique)

The main responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

  • Conduct weekly inspection audits across sites and take or organise remedial action as needed.
  • Carry out handyman duties including basic electrical, plumbing, decorating, and painting.Liaise with external consultants to plan and oversee maintenance and repair programmes.
  • Obtain quotes and assist with selecting cost-effective solutions.Schedule and supervise work carried out by external contractors.
  • Ensure all fixtures, fittings, and building infrastructure are in good working order.
  • Comply with all Health & Safety and statutory regulations.
  • Assist with risk assessments and ensure timely completion of required actions.
  • Carry out regular testing of fire alarms, emergency lighting, and other H&S requirements.
  • Maintain cleanliness of exterior areas such as loading bays and gutters.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests set by the Office Manager.
  • Provide general assistance on operational tasks as required.Undertake driving duties including inter-site transportation and ad hoc deliveries.
  • Act as a keyholder and maintain building security at all times.
  • Coordinate major on-site works, serving as the liaison between contractors and internal teams.
  • Review completed work to ensure it meets agreed standards and contractual requirements.

In addition to day-to-day duties, the Maintenance Supervisor will contribute to the implementation of a long-term maintenance strategy. This includes:

  • Assisting the Office Manager in the rollout of a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and associated preventive maintenance workflows.
  • Supporting the digitisation of maintenance records to enable real-time task tracking, data analysis, and more efficient scheduling.
  • Identifying recurring maintenance tasks, analysing failure trends, and distinguishing between preventive and reactive maintenance to reduce downtime.
  • Planning and adjusting maintenance schedules in line with operational needs and ensuring clear communication across sites.
  • Monitoring key performance indicators (e.g., Mean Time Between Failures [MTBF], Mean Time to Repair [MTTR]), gathering contractor and site feedback, and using insights to enhance long-term planning and performance.

Experience Required:

  • Years of Experience - 3 years +
  • Proactive and "Can-do" Attitude
  • Strong knowledge of building systems and Health & Safety regulations.
  • Ability to plan and manage both reactive and planned maintenance.
  • Skilled in coordinating contractors and reviewing work to required standards.
  • Competent with basic IT and maintenance tracking systems (e.g., CMMS).
  • Strong problem-solving, time management, and organisational skills.
  • Clear communicator with the ability to work across multiple sites.
  • Valid driver’s license and flexibility for occasional out-of-hours response.
