Job summary

Harrogate Homeless Project Limited is seeking a practical Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance across our Harrogate district, ensuring safety and quality in hostel, supported housing and office premises. You will plan projects, schedule repairs and routine maintenance, manage contractors and budgets, and support health and safety compliance, reporting to the Chief Executive.

This part-time role (22.5 hours per week) offers a pro rata salary of £16,894.80 and a supportive, values-driven

Qualifications

• Strong organisational and communication skills; experience in maintenance, facilities management or property services; ability to manage contractors and multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate maintenance projects across properties.
• Schedule repairs and routine maintenance; oversee preventative maintenance programmes.
• Manage contractors and suppliers; monitor budgets.
• Support compliance with health and safety requirements.
