Maintenance Supervisor.
Up to £58,000 per annum DOE Van.

Shepton Mallet.
5 on 5 off / 4 on 4 off – Permanent Nights.

We’re proud to be partnering with a world leading supplier of construction materials, in their search for a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join their high performing maintenance team.

The Role:
As the Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in keeping the site’s production and machinery in peak condition, ensuring downtime is minimised and efficiency is maximised. You’ll be part of a fast-paced, 24/7 operation, tackling planned maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and driving high standards of safety and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, repair, and service production machinery and site equipment.
  • Respond to unplanned repairs and plant breakdowns, ensuring quick and effective solutions.
  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping to keep the site safe and hazard free.
  • Manage and induct contractors for maintenance activities.
  • Operate both fixed and mobile plant safely and effectively.
  • Support the Site Manager in upholding all Health & Safety, Environmental, and company policies.
  • Research and implement cost-effective maintenance solutions.
  • Complete other reasonable tasks within your abilities when required.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A highly motivated and adaptable team player.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in engineering maintenance.
  • Good understanding of safe working practices permits to work, and live working rules.
  • IT literate, with strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Level 3 NVQ in Plant Maintenance.
  • NEBOSH qualification.
