Job Description:

Purpose

The Mechanical Supervisor is a key role within the Maintenance team to support the safe operation of assets, plant productivity, and reliability. As the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor, you will:

• Report directly to the Maintenance Manager and oversee Mechanical Technicians and Shift Maintenance Technicians.
• Be responsible for all mechanical maintenance tasks, ensuring safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Work closely with operations to meet quality standards related to ISO9001, ISO45001, ISO14001, and cGMP, including contamination prevention.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are maintained during all work activities.
• Manage the Mechanical Maintenance team, assign work, review work packs, and ensure RAMS are adequate.
• Track progress, manage work orders in the CMMS system, and ensure timely completion.
• Handle scheduling, planning, and coordination of maintenance activities, including breakdowns, PMs, compliance, and defects.
• Contribute to root cause analyses and continuous improvement activities.
• Promote a positive safety culture and ensure work is carried out safely and to industry standards.
• Supervise external contractors and liaise with OEMs for inspections and maintenance planning.

SHEQ

• Ensure all environmental, health, and safety requirements are met.
• Report accidents, near misses, and safety improvements.

Equipment Management

• Ensure timely completion of PMs, compliance, and regulatory work orders.
• Supervise maintenance technicians, support projects, and coordinate with external contractors.
