Job Description

The Opportunity Maintenance Supervisor is required to lead the daily maintenance of the world-famous London Eye attraction. We are looking for an experienced and physically fit maintenance leader who is motivated by taking responsibility for leading a small team on a shift rota. Note: You must be comfortable working from heights! Full harness training will be provided.

This is an exciting permanent position involving carrying out daily checks and start-up/close procedures on a 12-hour day or night shift on a rotating basis. You should feel comfortable working at heights; full harness training will be provided. For the right candidate, this role is varied with no two days being the same.

Locations: London

Salary: £54,200 P.A. + £3,500 Shift Allowance + Bonus + Overtime (potential earnings of £60,000 - £65,000)

Shifts: Working a mixture of days and nights - 12-hour shifts on roughly a 4 on 4 off / 5 on 5 off roster basis, including weekends and bank holidays as required.

Role and Responsibilities:

1. Complete fault finding and planned preventative maintenance to ensure smooth operation and guest enjoyment.
2. Follow electrical schematics for correct component installation.
3. Ensure planned preventative maintenance is completed within specified timescales.
4. Perform fault finding to maintain correct and safe operation of components.
5. Work confidently from heights (full training provided).

The Candidate:

• Electrically biased with fault finding experience in FMCG, Marine, Aviation, Rail, or Ex-Forces background.
• Minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification.
• Ability to interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematic diagrams.
• Experience with diagnostic software and test equipment.
