Job description

Our client is an established, international food related (FMCG) manufacturer based in the Thetford area.

The company has 8 manufacturing operations in the UK and Europe and is one of the leading manufacturers in its field with an annual turnover of 40 million, employing a loyal, dedicated and motivated team of around 80 staff.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Supervisor to join the loyal and dedicated Engineering team of 9.

Working closely with and reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will deliver and provide engineering support to the site focusing on plant performance, planned maintenance compliance, CMMS planning, continuous improvement compliance, and achieving targets and personal goals.

You will utilise your practical knowledge for the site including training, motivation, coaching, and guidance as required.

The role would suit a multi-skilled maintenance engineer who has leadership experience coupled with a planning bias from a factory environment.

A good understanding of manufacturing and packaging processes and utilities/services is important to the role.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (days) 40 hour week

  1. Salary: to suit experience, £50,000
  2. Attendance bonus: worth £200 per quarter
