Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a prominent Central London building at St James's Park. You will oversee delivery of high-quality building services, lead engineers, and manage compliance, RAMS, and contractor performance in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires experience in FM/building services, strong stakeholder engagement, and a track record of delivering safe, compliant operations in heritage and occupied spaces.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Level 2/3 or equivalent qualification in electrical or mechanical trades.
• Previous supervisory experience within FM/building services.
• Strong RAMS, permits to work and compliance knowledge.
• Experience using CAFM systems and producing reports.
• Knowledge of commercial and/or residential building services (HVAC, electrical).
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate building maintenance engineers and specialist subcontractors.
• Ensure all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works are delivered to required standards.
• Review, approve, and manage RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements).
• Issue and control Permits to Work in line with site safety procedures.
• Monitor and update CAFM systems, ensuring accurate maintenance records.
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company policies.
• Produce reports, track KPIs/SLAs, and support contract performance reviews.
• Liaise with clients, tenants, and internal teams to maintain high service levels.
• Identify plant or system defects and coordinate remedial works.
• Assist with quotations, scopes of work, and technical recommendations.
• Support the Contract Manager with day-to-day contract delivery and continuous improvement.

Maintenance Supervisor – FM Service Provider – St James's Park, London - Up to £57,000 per annum

This is an excellent opportunity within a prominent Central London building. The property combines character and architectural significance with modern operational requirements, providing a diverse and fast-paced environment that supports a range of occupiers, stakeholders, and day-to-day activities. The role involves overseeing the delivery of high-quality building services across a complex and busy occupied environment, ensuring planned and reactive maintenance activities are carried out efficiently and to the highest standards. The successful candidate will lead a team of engineers, focusing strongly on statutory compliance, contractor management, operational performance, and stakeholder engagement to support seamless day-to-day operations. Hours of Work

Monday to Friday, 08:00am – 17:00pm
