Maintenance Supervisor - Industrial Environment

Location: Scotland (specific site details can be added)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday - Day Shift

Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum (DOE) + Benefits

Are you a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor with a strong background in industrial environments?

We're looking for a proactive and experienced individual to lead our maintenance team, ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

About The Role

As the Maintenance Supervisor, you'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance across our busy industrial facility. You'll lead a skilled team of engineers and technicians, driving high standards in safety, reliability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the maintenance team
  • Implement and monitor a robust PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) schedule
  • Respond quickly to breakdowns and ensure minimal downtime
  • Support continuous improvement projects and reliability initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with all health & safety and regulatory requirements
  • Provide training, mentoring, and support to maintenance staff
  • Manage spare parts inventory and liaise with suppliers as needed

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or Team Leader in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Strong mechanical and/or electrical knowledge (multi-skilled desirable)
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Experience working with CMMS systems
  • A recognised engineering qualification (HNC/HND or equivalent)
