We’re looking for a hands-on, solutions-focused Maintenance Supervisor to take ownership of maintenance and fabrication at our busy Dagenham Aggregates site. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading name in the industry, where your skills will directly impact plant performance and site efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Leading maintenance of the wash plant and rail sidings
- Running weekly maintenance meetings and managing contractors
- Ordering parts and materials, and overseeing stores
- Fabricating and welding new and replacement components
- Maintaining and repairing static and mobile plant across multiple sites
- Carrying out planned inspections and keeping accurate records
- Identifying and resolving issues to reduce downtime
- Supporting site housekeeping and operating machinery safely
- Reporting defects and completing near miss reports
- Working within budget and aligning with production targets
Qualifications
- Skilled in fabrication and welding
- Organised and proactive, with strong problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable managing contractors and maintenance schedules
- Committed to safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement
- Reliable, with good timekeeping and attention to detail
