Responsibilities:

• Lead and support a team of engineers, operatives, and technicians delivering maintenance and refurbishment of traffic signals and highway systems.
• Manage supplementary works and ensure timely, cost-effective delivery across North and Central London.
• Take a lead role in planning and delivering high-profile events, including Royal, Military, State, and Sporting events.
• Promote and ensure safe working practices for all employees, subcontractors, and third-party stakeholders.
• Oversee stock control, ensuring materials are accurately booked and available for all ordered maintenance works.
• Support training and development within the maintenance team and assist in managing engineering support functions.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience in traffic signal engineering, with a background in installation and/or maintenance.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, manage and develop a team.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex tasks and stakeholders.
• Confident using IT systems including tablets and laptops, with a willingness to learn new software.
• Full UK Driving Licence required company vehicle and tools provided.
• Comfortable working outdoors and at heights, with a strong understanding of health and safety practices.
