Key Responsibilities

• Allocate work to depot-based maintenance team, ensuring efficiency and high standards
• Manage daily staffing, including holiday schedules, absences, and overtime
• Oversee stock management for servicing and repairs
• Coordinate servicing of trailers, cranes, and equipment, ensuring safety compliance
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on various equipment
• Prioritize work orders with strong organizational skills
• Uphold health and safety policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation and records

Person Specification

Education, Knowledge, and Experience

• Recognized industry qualification (City & Guilds/NVQ) as a time-served technician
• Supervisory experience in maintenance
• Knowledge of mobile cranes, plant machinery, and heavy vehicles
• Experience in work allocation and stock management

Skills and Abilities

• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults
• Strong communication skills and team effectiveness
• Basic computer skills for documentation
