Job Title: Maintenance Specialist

Location: Coleshill
Pay Range/Details: Competitive salary + commission scheme
Contract Type: Permanent (Nights)

Our client are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Coleshill. As a Maintenance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and optimizing the efficiency of our production lines and facilities, ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities Maintenance Specialist

  • Leading the planning and execution of maintenance activities for production lines and facilities to optimize technical and financial resources
  • Overseeing daily operations, including ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of equipment and production lines
  • Managing and updating technical documentation for equipment and facilities to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Proposing and implementing improvement projects to enhance process efficiency, reduce maintenance needs, and improve operational and energy performance
  • Responding promptly to emergencies, breakdowns, and malfunctions to minimize disruptions in the production process
  • Candidate will be on a PM shift working Monday to Thursday (2pm-10:15pm) and Friday (12pm-6pm)

Qualifications & Requirements Maintenance Specialist

  • Time-served qualification or degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (e.g., HNC/HND or international equivalents for candidates educated outside the UK)
  • Proven experience using CMMS systems for maintenance activities, with strong skills in data analysis to drive performance improvements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings to support manufacturing improvements and machine upgrades
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across all levels of the business, with desirable experience in conduit production machinery
