This position reports to

Engineering Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will lead processes to maintain and optimize the efficiency of equipment, production lines, and facilities. Your daily tasks include overseeing routine and extraordinary maintenance, managing technical documentation, and implementing improvement projects to enhance reliability, safety, and energy efficiency. The candidate will work on a PM shift (Monday to Thursday, 2pm-10:15pm, and Friday 12pm-6pm) with potential shift rotations as needed. This onsite role contributes to the Electrification Installation Products Division at Coleshill, collaborating mainly with Engineering, Production, and Quality departments.

Main responsibilities include:

1. Defining maintenance plans for new production lines and facilities.
2. Improving equipment reliability, maintainability, and safety.
3. Proposing process and production line improvements.
4. Responding to emergencies and breakdowns to minimize production disruptions.

Qualifications for the role

• Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of maintenance activities and CMMS systems, including data analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Strong communication skills across all business levels.
• Experience in manufacturing, ideally with conduit production machinery.
• Machining skills using tools like lathes, mills, grinders, welders, etc.
• Understanding of conduit system products.
