Description

Maintenance Services Engineers are responsible for ensuring the cost-effective, smooth running, environmentally sound, and sustainable design and maintenance of engineering services in our buildings. Responsibilities include all equipment and materials involved with heating, lighting, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical distribution, water supply, sanitation, fire protection, safety systems, lifts, escalators, facade engineering, and acoustics. This is an onsite role based in London, with working hours of 36.7 hours over an 8-week period.

Principal Accountabilities Conduct Risk:

• To prioritize the interests of clients and maintain market integrity in all business activities.

Principal Duties / Responsibilities:

A multi-skilled engineer (mechanically qualified) is required to:

• Join an established in-house team, working a staggered day rota, including weekends.
• Undertake all aspects of building services, working on modern plant, equipment, and systems controlled by Siemens BMS.
• Perform reactive and planned maintenance on all building services.
• Participate in an out-of-hours call-out procedure.
• Interact with building users at all levels and third-party service providers.

Qualifications

The Requirements:

Candidates should demonstrate the following:

• C&G Electrical Installation Level 3 Apprenticeship, ideally with experience in large office environments.
• 18th Edition IEE Regulations.
• Electrical Testing and Inspection experience is desirable.
• Knowledge of L8 standards.
• Knowledge of BMS and Lighting Controls Systems.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of health and safety standards and legislation.
• Knowledge of office building services such as AC and drainage.
• Time-management skills.
• Technical drawing, computer modeling, and IT skills.
• HVAC Accredited (desirable).
