Maintenance Roofing Technician

Vacancy Salary: £30,316.00 per annum

Location: Edinburgh

Role Responsibilities

• Providing reactive maintenance services to the retail sector, with roofing maintenance experience in a retail environment being essential, and plumbing experience advantageous.
• Assessing the requirements of works and carrying out repairs as necessary.
• Prioritising maintenance and repair works to meet client deadlines and response times.
• Travel across different regions may be required.
• Participating in an On Call rota (1/5 weeks).
• Using tablet technology for updating and completing work administration.
• Ensuring high levels of customer service due to frequent client interaction.
• Flexible working hours due to contract and client needs.
• Problem-solving and a positive attitude are essential.
• A valid driving license is required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Competent in at least two trades, including roofing, with an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in roofing and other maintenance roles is advantageous.
• Health & Safety certifications such as CSCS, SPA, IPAF, PASMA are beneficial.
• Holding a NVQ in roofing or equivalent is advantageous.
