Job description

At PGS Group, we are seeking a proactive Maintenance Responsible to join our team at our pallet site in the Essex area (Grays).

As part of a vertically integrated, fast-growing group that operates from "tree to truck," you will contribute to our mission of efficiency and quality.

What tasks will you perform?

• Preparation of maintenance and repair schedules and development of the maintenance plan, including curative, preventive, and corrective maintenance.
• Managing maintenance technicians and subcontractors. Includes training, supervision, and technical support.
• Overseeing the production process and implementing improvements.
• Optimizing machines.
• Supervision.
• Spare parts warehouse management. Purchasing in collaboration with Procurement, monitoring consumption, and stock management.
• Monitoring investments in technical equipment (machines and buildings). Includes preparing RFQs, analyzing quotations, and managing projects.
• Reporting to the plant manager.
• Managing technical documentation and administrative tasks.

Who are we looking for?

• Technical degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
