Job summary

Superbowl UK in St Helens is seeking a hands-on General Maintenance Operative to support the day-to-day upkeep of our bowling centre. You will be essential to keeping the site safe, functional and presentable for customers and staff.

You will perform lane checks, general site upkeep, light carpentry and minor electrical tasks, with training provided on lane maintenance and procedures. You will work independently within an 8 to 2 shift and take pride in high standards.

Qualifications

• Practical maintenance skills and a hands-on approach.
• Preferably prior experience in maintenance or handyman roles.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily lane checks and basic maintenance on bowling lanes.
• Keep the site clean and presentable in customer and staff areas.
• Perform light carpentry, painting, and basic electrical tasks within competency.
• Follow site safety procedures and report hazards promptly.
• Support with any reasonable maintenance tasks and manage time on an 8 to 2 shift.
