Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking a skilled Plumber to join our Portsmouth team. You will conduct preventive maintenance, repairs, and installations of plumbing systems, ensuring compliance and safety across facilities.

The role requires City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2/3, practical maintenance experience, and strong communication skills. You will work independently, manage time efficiently, and respond to emergencies to maintain critical systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2/3 certification.
• Relevant maintenance experience in a similar role.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct general preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of plumbing and mechanical systems, including water and medical gas supply.
• Repair, install, replace, test, and troubleshoot plumbing fixtures, valves, and outlets for optimal functionality.
• Maintain waste and vent lines using plumbers' tools and equipment.
• Collaborate with team members and contractors on projects requiring plumbing expertise and timely completion.
• Perform plumbing safety inspections and preventive maintenance on backflow devices with required certifications.
• Share knowledge and provide training to staff for light plumbing maintenance.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and coordinate additional assistance when needed.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned to support facility maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
