Are you a skilled and dedicated plumber with a passion for maintaining and improving commercial facilities? My client, an established Commercial M&E specialist are seeking an experienced Commercial Maintenance Plumber to join their team in London. This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact by ensuring the smooth operation of essential plumbing systems in commercial properties. Responsibilities
  • Conducting routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of plumbing systems in commercial buildings.
  • Diagnosing and resolving plumbing issues, including leaks, blockages, and system malfunctions.
  • Installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing equipment.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Collaborating with other maintenance professionals and contractors to address complex issues.
  • Providing expert advice and recommendations to clients regarding plumbing system upgrades or improvements.
  • Maintaining accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each task.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a plumber, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
  • Relevant plumbing certifications and qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating).
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality in all work performed.
Day-to-Day
  • Responding to service requests and emergency plumbing issues in a timely manner.
  • Performing scheduled maintenance tasks to prevent system failures.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing plumbing systems to ensure minimal disruption to clients.
  • Coordinating with property managers and other stakeholders to plan and execute maintenance activities.
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies to enhance service delivery.
