Job summary

SRG in Redditch is seeking a Maintenance Engineer on a permanent basis to maintain equipment performance, reduce downtime and plan maintenance activities.

The role blends maintenance administration with hands-on mechanical support, with responsibility for documentation, SOPs, spares, and collaboration with internal teams and external service providers.

Qualifications

• Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent practical experience.
• Previous maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
• Experience maintaining a variety of production equipment.
• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Managing maintenance schedules, documentation and records.
• Coordinating spare parts sourcing and procurement.
• Supporting preventative maintenance programmes.

Role: Maintenance Engineer

SRG are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Planning Engineer on a permanent basis, based in Redditch. As the Maintenance Planning Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining equipment performance, reducing downtime and ensuring maintenance activities are effectively planned, documented and executed.

This role offers a blend of maintenance administration and hands‑on mechanical engineering support.
