A leading company in the retail sector is seeking a Maintenance Planner to oversee maintenance schedules and optimize productivity in Mansfield. The role involves coordinating work orders, managing maintenance data, and supporting resource planning to enhance warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have previous planning experience and a relevant qualification, ensuring minimal disruption to operations while continually improving processes.
Support in the development and maintenance of detailed maintenance schedules for all warehouse equipment and systems, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
Coordinate with the maintenance team to prioritize and schedule work orders, ensuring minimal disruption to warehouse operations.
Monitor and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate operational changes or unexpected maintenance needs.
Manage the in-house CAB process, ensuring stakeholder involvement in planned outages and reporting on failed CABs to senior management.
Review and manage work orders in the CMMS (ARMS) system, ensuring accuracy and completeness of documentation from creation to completion.
Track work order progress, ensure proper closure, and record details such as parts used, labor hours, and failure codes.
Support the maintenance and accuracy of spare parts inventory, including regular audits and reporting.
Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and areas for improvement, supporting bi-annual PM reviews.
Generate reports on maintenance activities and equipment performance to aid decision-making.
Collaborate with maintenance and other departments to coordinate activities and communicate plans and changes effectively.
Assist in resource planning to optimize productivity and reduce costs, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications include previous maintenance planning experience, proficiency with CMMS software, strong organizational and analytical skills, and effective communication abilities. A relevant engineering or management qualification is highly desirable.
