Our client has a current opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Planner & Scheduler to take ownership of the maintenance planning and scheduling for a busy manufacturing site in Inverness.

The Role:

You'll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly. Planning maintenance tasks, managing shutdowns, and ensuring that work orders are structured, issued, and completed efficiently. Working closely with the Maintenance Manager and Supervisors, you'll bring structure and forward-thinking to the team, all while making the most of budgets to maximise uptime.

What You'll Bring:

  • Solid experience in an engineering environment with a clear grasp of technical processes and terms.
  • Strong understanding of UK health and safety regulations, including the creation of risk assessments and safe systems of work.
  • A composed, solutions-focused approach to working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems (ideally Maximo) and the desire to become a subject matter expert.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and confidence in creating detailed worksheets, documents, and tracking tools.
  • Great communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
