Job Title: Maintenance Resource Planner
Location: Wakefield
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:30 (1 hour break)
Salary: £26,000 per annum (£12.50 per hour)
Job Overview:
Manpower are seeking a proactive and organised Maintenance Resource Planner to support our client with the planning of reactive maintenance work for our team of Maintenance Technicians. This role involves managing customer enquiries via email and phone, raising purchase orders (POs) for third-party contractors, issuing invoices to pass charges back to customers, and liaising with depots regarding stock availability.
Key Responsibilities:





  • Support the planning and scheduling of reactive maintenance work for Maintenance Technicians.



  • Handle customer queries professionally via email and telephone.



  • Raise purchase orders for external contractors as required.



  • Prepare and raise invoices to ensure accurate billing to customers.



  • Communicate effectively with depots regarding stock availability and delivery timelines.



  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to maintenance activities and resource planning.



  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.



Skills and Experience:





  • Previous experience in resource planning or maintenance coordination .



  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.



  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.



  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to quickly learn new systems.



  • Customer-focused with a professional approach to handling enquiries.



  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.



Working Hours:



  • Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:30, with a 1-hour break.
