A leading recruitment consultancy is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner for a critical role in the Rail industry, located in Liverpool. The successful candidate will lead maintenance planning and scheduling, ensuring compliance with safety and performance standards. This is a 3-month contract with a rate of £425/day, requiring proven experience in rolling stock maintenance and excellent stakeholder engagement skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Planner or Train/Fleet Planner within the UK rail industry.
• Strong understanding of rolling stock maintenance cycles and depot operations.
• Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Overview

Maintenance Planner – Location: Liverpool | Contract Length: 3 Months (Initial) | Rate: £425/day (Outside)

Ford and Stanley are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner within the Rail industry to support the operational roll-out and upkeep of a new fleet of rolling stock. This is a critical three month (Initial) contract.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities.
• Interface with technical and administrative teams to identify and resolve planning gaps.
• Collaborate with Train Planning and Depot Operations to align maintenance schedules with service requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety, reliability, and performance standards.
