Overview

Maintenance Planner – Location: Liverpool. Contract Length: 3 Months (Initial). Rate: £425/day (Outside).

Ford and Stanley are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner within the Rail industry to support the operational roll-out and upkeep of a new fleet of rolling stock. This is a critical three month (Initial) contract.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities.
• Interface with technical and administrative teams to identify and resolve planning gaps.
• Collaborate with Train Planning and Depot Operations to align maintenance schedules with service requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety, reliability, and performance standards.
• Produce and manage maintenance documentation, schedules, and reports.
• Act as a subject matter expert on fleet maintenance planning, providing hands-on support from day one.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Planner or Train/Fleet Planner within the UK rail industry.
• Strong understanding of rolling stock maintenance cycles and depot operations.
• Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
