Job Description
As a Maintenance Planner you will be tasked with the following;
- Develop and manage maintenance schedules to ensure minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
- Maintain, operate and develop the businesses CMMS.
- Coordinate with the engineering team to prioritise and allocate resources for maintenance activities.
- Monitor and track the performance of maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including completed tasks and upcoming requirements.
- Proactively identify and address potential maintenance issues to prevent equipment failures.
- Collaborate with external contractors and suppliers to support maintenance operations.
- Implement and improve maintenance planning processes for optimal results.
- Support the Engineering & Manufacturing department with data analysis and reporting on equipment performance.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Maintenance Planner should have:
- Experience of running/using a CMMS system
- Understanding of legal compliance requirements
- Good health and safety knowledge
- Time served in either mechanical or electrical engineering
- Manufacturing background
