Job Description

Location: 37 New Road, Whittlesey

Cedar Court Residential Care is currently seeking Maintenance Person who is passionate and enthusiastic about developing a career within maintenance and care.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, equipment, and systems
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
  • Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks accordingly
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and completed work orders
  • Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or installations
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment needed for maintenance tasks

Requirements

About The Role

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in maintenance or a related field
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
  • Excellent customer service skills to interact with staff and address their concerns
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
  • Basic welding skills for minor repairs or fabrication work
  • Familiarity with logic controllers and electrical systems is a plus
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Ability to supervise and provide guidance to other maintenance personnel when necessary.
