Overview

We are looking for a responsible Maintenance person to provide support to our care home. This is a hands on position, and the individual is expected to work on their own initiative. You will work on a one-to-one basis on a variety of tasks related to the home’s management requests.

Responsibilities
  • Check maintenance book at least daily and take appropriate action
  • Daily walkabout cross referencing to maintenance schedule and record findings
  • Liaise with manager for specific tasks
  • Liaise with administrator regarding contact with outside agencies
  • Carry out specialist requirements such as PAT testing
  • Carry out monitoring and recording of water temperatures
  • General maintenance
  • Monitor clinical and specialist waste process
  • Liaise with administrator for ad hoc tasks
Essential Requirements
  • Proven work experience in a maintenance field (preferably minimum 1 years)
  • Knowledge of various legislation relating to the role, e.g PAT testing
  • Outstanding organisational and time-management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily workload
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
