A community service provider is seeking a Maintenance Operative/Technician in Telford. The successful candidate will ensure properties are well-maintained and compliant, handle critical systems, and demonstrate strong practical maintenance experience. Responsibilities include resolving maintenance requests and collaborating with property services managers. The MaintenanceOperative/Technician will be expected to uphold the Company’s aims and objectives in ensuring that the property and associated grounds are kept in a safe, well maintained and compliant manner at all times. Working to the Company Policies and Procedures, carrying out all aspects of the role competently and safely at all sites at which you are engaged or as directed by the relevant Property Services Officer.
Position: Maintenance Operative/Technician
Location: You will primarily work at our services based in Telford. However you will also be required to travel to other services within the region.
Hours: 40 hours per week, between 8.00am and 5.00pm, with flexibility on start and finish times
Transport: You will require use of your own vehicle and mileage will be paid at 45p per mile
Tools and equipment: Supplied by the Company.

To be successful in the role of Estates Operative/Technician it is desirable to hold a relevant trade qualification and be able to demonstrate competence in one or more of the following trades: joinery; decoration; plumbing; electrics or proven experience and ability in a similar building’s maintenance role.
