Job summary

Balfour Beatty Connect Plus Services is seeking a site operative to undertake routine inspections and maintenance of structures across the M25 network. The role involves manual work, record-keeping, and using IT systems to update logs.

You will work with small plant, plan team tasks, and support the line manager. Full training provided, SSSTS qualification and CSCS card required, plus driving licence. Hybrid working with some night shifts.

Qualifications

• Strong IT skills for updating logs and records.
• Experience with small works and site tasks is beneficial.
• Confined space awareness is preferred.

About the role

To undertake routine inspections and maintenance of structures across the DBFO Network, including bridges, gantries, and smaller assets. The role involves both manual work and record-keeping, including updating systems and logs. The successful candidate will require strong IT skills, plan and allocate team tasks, provide feedback to their line manager, and operate small plant as part of the works.

• No prior experience required; full training provided.
• SSSTS qualification.
• CSCS card holder.
• Experience in small works.
• Soft estates skills (e.g. strimming, hedge cutting).
• Working at height (MEWPs and gantry access ladders).
• Confined space certification.
• Full driving licence
