Job summary

WP Recruitment is seeking Maintenance Operatives for highways work on the Isle of Wight. The role involves a small team handling reactive maintenance, pothole filling, tarmacking, street furniture repairs, and general labour with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Hours are 7.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m., 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with on-call weekends/evenings. The position is temporary with immediate start and ongoing work.

Qualifications

• Must have previous construction experience and be physically fit.
• Highways experience is an advantage.
• Must have a full driver license and an awareness of health and safety.
• Must be able to work well as part of a team, to instruction.
