Description

Are you a competent and multiskilled Maintenance professional looking for a new challenge?

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Operative to join a multi-skilled team, providing property maintenance and repairs to our care homes and other areas of the business. You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks such as plumbing, plastering, painting, basic electrics, and gardening.

  • Reporting To: Estates Manager
  • Compensation: £30,664 / year
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and complete general maintenance and repairs in our homes.
  • Perform maintenance tasks as required, collaborating with the wider team.
  • Follow health and safety regulations and report issues.
  • Work one Saturday every 6 weeks.
Skills and Requirements
  • Experience in all aspects of general maintenance, including plastering, building, and decorating.
  • Basic plumbing knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Safe use of powered tools.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Proficiency with IT systems (e.g., Jira).
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel across locations.
