Job description

Our Property Team at the Bedruthan and Scarlet Hotel provides planned and reactive maintenance to preserve our reputation for guest and staff safety and comfort across both hotels.

Key responsibilities:

  • Carpentry
  • Grounds maintenance and addressing daily maintenance issues
  • Problem solving
  • Collecting property data from around the building
  • Monitoring back-of-house areas such as the loading bay
  • Monitoring incoming deliveries

You will need to perform various maintenance tasks, with a focus on carpentry. You should understand how to use power tools safely and have practical experience. A trade qualification or national vocational qualification is required.

Since the role involves interaction with guests and staff, effective communication in spoken and written English, basic computer skills, and numeracy are essential. You must be able to follow instructions, prioritize tasks, and complete work to a high standard.
