We are looking for a Maintenance Person to join our teams at Springbank and Wood House. You will be part of a dedicated team committed to enhancing the lives of our service users by maintaining our facilities to the highest standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining the exterior of our buildings and grounds to a safe and high standard
• Managing building works and refurbishments with minimal disruption
• Performing routine checks and repairs on systems, coordinating specialist repairs as needed
• Conducting safety tests such as boiler checks, fire alarm systems, and water temperature tests
• Advising the Home Manager on maintenance issues like heating, refrigeration, electrics, and faulty equipment
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act and maintaining safety records
• Keeping tools and equipment safe and well-maintained
• Assisting staff with repairs and emergency procedures, including staff induction on safety protocols
• Being available for emergency call-outs and assisting with vehicle driving for resident outings
