From fixing doors and touching up paint to carrying out vital safety checks, your role is all about creating a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment.

Responsibilities
  • Respond quickly to reactive repairs (scuffed walls, broken blinds, minor fixes).
  • Carry out planned and preventative maintenance (PPMs).
  • Keep shared spaces, corridors, and flats looking fresh and well-presented.
  • Tackle painting and decorating tasks to maintain high standards.
  • Complete safety and compliance checks (fire alarms, emergency lighting, legionella testing).
  • Keep clear records and report any safety risks.
  • Support wider site activities such as inspections, open days, and occasional events.
  • Be approachable, friendly, and proactive when reporting maintenance issues.
Who You Are
  • Experienced in building maintenance, facilities, or a similar hands-on role.
  • Skilled in painting, decorating, and general upkeep.
  • Knowledgeable about health & safety and compliance.
  • Organised, proactive, and detail-oriented.
  • Friendly, approachable, and a great communicator.
  • (Bonus) Holds NVQ, 18th Edition, or other trade qualifications (not essential).
What’s on Offer
  • Supportive training and mentorship.
  • Genuine opportunities for career development.
  • A reliable, experienced team to work alongside.
  • A role with purpose – where your work really makes a difference.
