Job summary

HC-One is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Operative to provide maintenance services to ensure residents live in a well-maintained environment. The successful candidate will have solid experience in maintenance and be responsible for performing various repairs and audits, coupled with excellent communication skills. Job description

HC-One is looking for a Maintenance Operative with solid experience in maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning, and housekeeping. You will need technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, and ideally some IT skills. Communication skills should be considerate and kind, especially when engaging with residents and colleagues.

Your role involves ensuring residents live in a proactively inspected and well-maintained environment. Responsibilities include carrying out audits, updating records, and performing repairs such as replacing taps, fitting extractor fans, repairing timber on windows, or putting up wallpaper, always with kindness.

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You must recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond. Attendance at safeguarding training is required, along with the ability to seek advice and escalate concerns if necessary.
