Job description

HC-One is seeking a Maintenance Operative with solid experience in maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning, and housekeeping. The ideal candidate will have technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, and preferably some IT skills. You should be considerate and kind in all communications with residents and co-workers.

Your role will involve ensuring our residents live in a proactively inspected and well-maintained environment. Responsibilities include conducting audits, maintaining accurate records, and carrying out repairs such as replacing taps, fitting extractor fans, repairing windows, or decorating. Above all, kindness is essential in your approach.

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You must be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate actions to take. Attendance at safeguarding training and the ability to seek advice and escalate concerns are required.
