Victorian Plumbing is hiring a Maintenance Operative to keep our HQ running smoothly. Join our proactive team and be the go-to person for repairs, lighting, and safety. You’ll diagnose issues, respond to requests quickly, and help create a workplace people enjoy.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience in building maintenance, a basic understanding of electrical/plumbing systems, strong problem-solving, and clear communication. This role runs Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4pm, at our Leyland offices.

Qualifications

• Experience keeping buildings shipshape, preferably in a commercial setting.
• A basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and safety systems.
• Ability to tackle physical tasks and keep the handyman spirit alive.
• A keen eye for detail and the problem-solving skills of a mastermind.
• Communication skills that flow freely!
• Organisation so good, it SHINES!

Responsibilities

• Diagnose (and fix) minor plumbing issues.
• Become a lighting maestro to ensure bright office spaces.
• Light painting and touch-ups to keep the office looking spick and span.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, big or small.
• Be a safety champion, collaborating with security and ensuring knowledge of Health & Safety.
