A leading provider of elderly care homes in Sittingbourne is seeking a Maintenance Operative to ensure facilities are well maintained and functional. Responsibilities include routine maintenance, basic repairs, and supporting residents in arranging their rooms. The ideal candidate has experience in maintenance and knowledge of Health and Safety standards. This role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact in a caring and supportive environment.

As a Maintenance Operative at Avery Healthcare, your focus will be to ensure the building and grounds are well maintained, undertake a variety of routine maintenance tasks, service checks, and apply basic fixes to equipment and systems to ensure facilities are fully functional. You will also support new residents in arranging their rooms, carry out re-decoration as required, and provide an out-of-hours emergency service.
