A luxury elderly care provider in Monkston is looking for a dedicated Maintenance Operative to ensure that the building and grounds are well maintained. The ideal candidate will assist with routine maintenance tasks, handle basic repairs, and support new residents as they settle in. With a commitment to health and safety, the role requires a year of experience in maintenance, a full driving license, and a passion for creating enriching experiences for residents.
This role as a Maintenance Operative at Avery Healthcare in Kents Hill will focus on ensuring the building and grounds are well maintained, undertaking a variety of routine maintenance tasks, checks to services, and basic fixes to equipment and systems to keep the facilities fully functional. The role requires at least one year of experience in a general maintenance or handyperson role, a full driving license, and knowledge of health and safety practices.
Your primary focus will be to ensure the building and grounds are well maintained, undertaking a variety of routine maintenance tasks, checks to services, and applying basic fixes to equipment and systems to ensure facilities are fully functional. Other responsibilities will include carrying out general maintenance and repairs, supporting new residents to arrange their rooms, undertaking routine re-decoration, advising on the supply and quality of items, and providing out-of-hours emergency service.
