A healthcare service provider in Lytham St Annes is seeking a Maintenance Operative to join their maintenance team in a hospital environment. The role involves undertaking both planned and reactive maintenance tasks including mechanical and electrical services. Candidates should have a background in maintenance and be able to perform various tasks such as emergency light testing and plumbing repairs. A good educational background in Mechanical or Electrical disciplines is preferred, along with good communication skills. We are seeking a Maintenance Operative for our maintenance team comprising various trades, working in a Hospital environment.
Undertaking Planned Preventative and Reactive maintenance tasks to mechanical and electrical services and the building fabric.
Ideally you will have a background in mechanical or electrical maintenance and be able to carry out emergency light testing, PAT testing, Legionella monitoring tasks, water treatment sample testing and dosing, lamp / tube replacements, minor plumbing, engineering and building fabric repairs.
Staff are expected to undertake works associated with other trades, depending upon their skills.
You will need to be able to drive, have good communication skills: Verbal, Written and IT to react with both staff and clients to ensure a delivery of services, you will also be expected to undertake any necessary training that might be required in order to undertake the role.
A recognised qualification in a Mechanical, Electrical or Building discipline would be an advantage, but not essential, training can be provided for the right candidate
